About Me
Hey there! My name is Braden and I'm an actor based out of New York. I'm a small town Midwest guy who chased his dream to be where I am today. I grew up in South Dakota where I went to undergrad at South Dakota State University. There I received degrees in Music Education and Theatre. Afterwards I immediately went to graduate school at NYU Steinhardt where I received a Master's of Music degree in Vocal Performance: Musical Theatre.
Since graduating I've been a part of some amazing projects, and I am currently a mainstage performer for Disney Cruise Lines, where I play Hercules, among other roles, in the ship's Broadway style productions.
I primarily perform musical theatre, but I also work in film, tv, and plays. I have also performed in, directed and written award winning short films in the Midwest. Besides performing, I am a certified music and voice teacher, where I have taught k-12 Choir in South Dakota and continue to give private voice lessons.
When not performing, I have a wide range of hobbies and interests. I love working out, and am usually rock climbing or climbing the ranks on the Peloton, with general weight training supplementing my growth. I also take part in local tournaments for many different trading card games and indulge in other nerdy activities like D&D and other games with friends. I'm also an avid reader, and have the current goal of reading Kurt Vonnegut's entire catalog of books.
